There's a few problems, but generally amazing!

THe only real issues is with how I put some cut and pasted the vocal tracks, During the second verse, when "Hunting down the weak" starts, it's just a slight bit off, but it's noticable. The chorus after the verse with "My power grows again" has issues after "Chew on my" in which you can hear the beginning of the word cold.
If you want, I can fix these over the weekend.
Other than that, it's pretty much exactly the way I heard it in my head, which is awesome. I'm glad people are enjoying it!

TheBardOfBlasphemy responds:

it's up to you, man... i couldn't notice those things too much but the creator is always the harshest critic (at least, that's how it is for me).

if you get around to it, i'll upload the changes, but it sounds cool anyway

I can suggest a few things...

Alright so there's a few things that could be used for improvement upon first listen.
The big thing is that it sounds like there needs to be more added to it besides a bass, piano and drums. I don't know what I would recommend, maybe acoustic guitar to go along with the bass rythm or a lead guitar to go along with the piano melody.
The snare drum seems a little too quiet, if you can turn that up that would make a better impact upon the song.
The ending seemed like it came from out of nowhere, the rest of the song seemed to have a quiet and calm feeling, then at the end just a bang. I would say to have a better buildup towards the end and then go from there. I would personally say to have a small dying effect after, such as adding a bit of delay after each note on each instrument. Or you could have an abrupt ending, and have alarger impact on the ending by doing that.

Other than that, the song was really catchy, the way you used accidentals had a neat feeling towards the song. Also the song had a generally happy feeling towards that.
Hope this helps.

Kirbyfemur responds:

Well this is just the very start of the song. I plan on adding another instrument or two.

The snare... Well I'll try to do what i can without screwing up the quality, since i can't find a good sound for the snare.

The ending wasn't fully thought out, and sadly it was just sort of thrown in there.

I'm just glad that the main issues where things I had planned on fixing, rather than things I couldn't see needing fixed.

I just hope if i do add anything, that it doesn't screw up the eq lol

Thanks for the listen, and the words =3

Awesome! Thanks for your input and thanks for listening!

Definately has an ambient feel to it.

But it still gives the feeling of wanting to headbang.
There's a point around 1:05 that feels a bit off, but after listening to it again it sounds right.
Generally, it's a good metal song that's calming, but yet headbang-worthy. Good work!

Good luck at the NGADM!

Lol hey thanks, and good luck to you too. =3

Wow!

For shitty equipment you did a hell of a good job. Extreme Death Meal to the core! However, if you would like a better head start on your musical work, then I would recommend you get a TASCAM US-144 Interface. With a TM-78 condenser mic it comes to around $300 Canadian, best thing I ever bought to get my music career into gear.
Other than that, you got a good thing going, don't give it up!

Bearserker responds:

wow! thanks a freaking lot man! damn happy that u like it.

alright, i gonna check this equipment out. but 300 bucks is a big investment, but if it`s good as u say, then it would be worth it.

and thx again, dude! :D

Awesome shiznit!

Reminds me of Black Dahlia Murder, which is kickass!
One of the places I started with my band besides newgrounds is reverbnation (reverbnation.com) if you're trying to make it big like I am, that would be a good place to start!
Good luck!

HEAVY!!!

Fro said everything, so I can't say much else that he didn't.
I'm willing to take on vocals, but school is tomorrow (last year thank god) and when I get some spare time not doing schoolwork or working with the band, I'll definately try to get some vocals up.
Until then.
METAL!

This is absolutely amazing! This makes me want to record something, but my computer's too retarded right now. So this song makes me want to make my computer run faster, THEN record something. I'll get back to you once my computer runs faster.
